Am is an Australian-registered Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) with 27 years of experience in road and transport infrastructure across Australia, the Pacific and Asia. His experience spans infrastructure and transport planning, road and highway engineering, detailed design, traffic engineering and network analysis, road safety, pavement and drainage, feasibility and business case development, technical assurance, procurement, project and programme management and construction delivery.
His career covers major highways and expressways, urban and regional road networks, rural roads, intersections, active transport and public infrastructure programmes. He has worked across government and consulting environments and on internationally funded assignments involving JICA, ADB and the World Bank. Through NIE, Am leads multidisciplinary technical inputs, road engineering and road safety assignments, design coordination, client liaison and specialist advisory services for international infrastructure projects.
Sud is a Chartered Professional Engineer and infrastructure asset management specialist with more than 20 years of experience across Australian and international road infrastructure projects. His expertise includes road and infrastructure asset registers, asset management systems, condition and performance assessment, lifecycle and renewal planning, maintenance programming, capital works prioritisation, business cases and asset data management.
His Australian local government experience includes corporate asset management systems, GIS and mobile inspection data, condition surveys, renewal programmes, investment prioritisation and technical specifications. He also brings substantial international road-sector experience in highway design, construction supervision and contract administration. Sud is CPEng, NER and RPEV registered and holds an IPWEA qualification in Asset Management Planning together with an MSc in Project Management.
Manjula is an experienced civil engineer and project manager with more than 20 years of experience in road, transport infrastructure and civil construction across New Zealand, Sri Lanka, the UAE and the United Kingdom. His experience includes road rehabilitation, drainage and flood-recovery works, project delivery, procurement, contractor management, construction supervision, programme and schedule control, quality assurance and stakeholder coordination.
He brings strong practical capability in managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating consultants and contractors and delivering infrastructure projects in operational and challenging construction environments, with a strong focus on safety, quality and practical project outcomes.
Hassy is a Chartered Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in geotechnical and materials engineering for roads, highways and major civil infrastructure. His expertise includes geotechnical investigations, foundation engineering, slope stability and landslide mitigation, ground improvement, piling and pile testing, pavement and construction materials, detailed design and construction supervision.
His experience includes ADB and JICA-supported transport infrastructure assignments, expressways, bridges, light rail, hydropower and international projects across Sri Lanka, Samoa and Africa. He brings strong capability in geotechnical design, field investigations, materials engineering, technical review and construction-stage support.
Rosh is an experienced civil, drainage and project engineer with more than 18 years of experience across New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Oman, Tanzania and the UAE. His expertise includes road and highway drainage, hydrology, culvert systems, flood mitigation, infrastructure design, technical documentation and multidisciplinary coordination.
His experience includes flood-prone highway infrastructure and ADB-funded road drainage assignments, together with project planning, quantities, tender support, design coordination and construction-stage technical support. This combination allows him to contribute across both detailed engineering and broader project delivery assignments.
Chand is an experienced company secretarial and corporate administration professional with experience across Sri Lanka, Dubai and Australia. Her background includes executive administration, company coordination and human resources support across different organisational environments.
At NIE, Chand manages executive-level resource and contract administration and supports the coordination of professional personnel engaged across the company’s consulting activities. She has supported NIE’s corporate administration and resource coordination since the company’s inception.
Sandee supports NIE’s consulting activities through project data analysis, information management, research, reporting and administrative coordination. Her role includes supporting the organisation and analysis of project information, preparation of project documentation and coordination of data and administrative requirements across consulting assignments.
